Having a bit of fun this morning over the breakfast cup of tea and a leisurely skim over my blog favourites and I found this fun little idea on Emily Falconbridge's blog, and she got it from Denise. You answer a series of questions about yourself, type the answer into flickr search, choose a photo from the first page of results then do a photo mosaic. I love this! Have a go.

Sparkly things

Well it's nice to know that folks like this blog - I go away on hols and neglect it terribly but thanks to Fiona and Eleni who both gave me this sparkly web button! So here's what it's about: It's a special award given to weblogs that somehow catch your eye! The rules for this award: 1. The winner can put the logo on her blog. 2. Been playing with blogthings again.... saw this one on Kirsty's blog, so just had to have a go (check out the side panel further down the page). Quite relieved to know my dominant intelligence is musical. There's a relief! So what's yours?

Change of look

Hello, not done a great lot today as I'm still struggling with this wretched flu bug ... harrumph. So I just played about with templates instead (if only I could change the way I look as easily!) and just happened to wander into a wool shop on my daily constitutional so am now knitting a nice pair of multi coloured socks - at least I hope they're going to be nice!

New blog, new blogger!

Inspired by getting to see everyone else's work on Shimelle's Journal Your Christmas class, I decided to get a blog too, and save some space on my UKS gallery! So this is a first post, and hopefully I'll get some piccies uploaded soon.
